Hello, friends! These training sessions are turning out great! We continue with Bjorn Hurri’s sketches, and this time I found a face that resembles a dwarf. We can already start thinking about creating something of this race for our RPG zine, Exclegiuse. So many ideas, so many zines — that’s the beauty of training, it unlocks imagination. 😅

👉 This kind of study is excellent because it opens space for new races, creatures, and characters within the world of fantasy art and indie comics. Every line can become inspiration for future projects, whether in the Pandemia zine or other apocalyptic and medieval works.

🎭✏️ Treinos Criativos — Meio Rosto de Palhaço Creative Training — Half Clown Face

 Olá, galera!

Seguimos aqui ainda com os rascunhos de Bjorn Hurri, e dessa vez o treino traz o meio rosto de um palhaço. Esse tipo de estudo é ótimo porque te tira da zona de conforto — e, na minha opinião, são justamente os melhores exercícios.

👉 Na hora de aplicar a sombra, percebi que exagerei no tom do lápis e o desenho acabou ficando muito escuro. Nem tudo sai como queremos, mas é exatamente para isso que servem os treinos. Se fosse passado no nanquim, acredito que teria que aumentar as hachuras e o resultado ficaria mais equilibrado.

📌 Nem tudo são flores, e esse post é justamente para mostrar isso: o processo, os erros e os aprendizados. O importante é continuar a queimar grafites e evoluir.

🎭✏️ Creative Training — Half Clown Face

Hello, friends! We continue with Bjorn Hurri’s sketches, and this time the training features the half face of a clown. This type of study is great because it pushes you out of your comfort zone — and in my opinion, those are the best exercises.

👉 While applying the shadow, I realized I exaggerated the pencil tone and the drawing ended up too dark. Not everything comes out as we want, but that’s exactly what training is for. If I had used ink, I believe I would have needed to increase the hatching, and the result would have been more balanced.

📌 Not everything is perfect, and this post is here to show that: the process, the mistakes, and the lessons learned. The important thing is to keep burning graphite and evolving.
